About me
I have worked with individuals and groups in a variety of settings since the mid 1980’s and am passionate about supporting people to create change. I have trained and worked as a social worker and hold a BSc Hons degree in Health and Community Studies, as well as a Diploma in Social Work. I set up and developed an organisation with my husband offering environmental consultancy and project management, my role was predominantly in the Human Resources aspect of the organisation.
I have been in private practice since 2002. I practice an integral approach and my work draws on a range of disciplines including Positive Psychology, Hypnotherapy and Deep Ecology as well as Thought Field Therapy (TFT), which is one of the new energy psychologies.
My approach is holistic, selecting whatever is the best combination for the client and includes a variety of applied psychology techniques. I trained in NLP with John Seymour Associates, in Hypnotherapy with The Clifton Practice and in TFT with British Thought Field Therapy Association. I also draw on my experience and additional training in Deep Ecology, Meditation, Spiritual Healing, Permaculture, and several other Positive Psychology courses including Mind Fields College and the Centre for Applied Positive Psychology.
